Read on to know how things got interestingly connected with Amit Dolawat...

The good looking and talented actor Amit Dolawat, who is all set to be seen on Colors’ upcoming drama Dev, considers his better half Cheshta Sharma as his lady luck.

He gives credit to his beautiful wife for bagging the show and there is a very interesting tale behind how Amit bagged the role and how everything got connected to his wedding.

In a candid conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Amit spoke to us about it. Read on –

He informed us, “This show is like a marriage gift to me because the initial talks about the show happened on the day when I was going for the marriage. I did a look test for the series and left for my wedding. I got a confirmation call from the production house while I was sitting on my wedding horse. They told me that I am finalised for the role and they want to discuss money with me and I told them that I will come later; main toh abhi ghode pe baitha hun (laughs). I did a mock shoot with the other cast before leaving for my honeymoon and after coming back from the trip, I was signed on for the role and started shooting. So that’s how everything from the first look test to signing on the dotted line for the role happened between my wedding and Honeymoon.

“Over the years, whatever work I have done, I have mostly entered the shows mid way but here I am involved in the whole thing since its inception  which is like a step ahead in my career. I keep telling Cheshta that it’s because of her luck. She always laughs and say that let’s see how things go further,” he added.

Tellychakkar wishes Amit all the bvery best in all his endeavourst.
