A page from the personal diary of Shakti Arora Hello everyone, this is Shakti Arora, doctor Onir Dutt of Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV. Before I get into details, I wish to tell you something about me. Born in Mumbai, I did my graduation from NM College in Vile Parle. For me, acting was not a planned profession, but I am in this field because of my passion. Since my mother is a doctor, she had planned to get me in the medical profession too. I always had the feeling to become an actor and get into films. But, since getting into films involve a lot of trouble, I opted out of getting into the medium. To keep my passion alive, I started giving auditions for shows on television. Incidentally, I got selected to play Jigar’s role in Baa Bahu Aur Baby on Star Plus. After that, I didn’t look back as my career started touching new heights. For me the most memorable moment of my life was when I bought a Honda City and also a flat with my own money. It’s like when fulfilling your dream, things turn out to be the most precious moment of one’s life. For me the most enjoyable show is Brain Café, the concept of which is based on science. The show comes on ZQ. Surprisingly, I am working wonders on the show now, but to tell you the fact I was very poor in science while in school. While in school, I used to be very scared of science practicals, but on the sets whichever experiment I do, they turn out to be successful. I love when children praise me for my experiments and try to learn something. There are many fun elements in the show which make children excited and create humor. In general, I love being on the sets of Brain Café. I still remember my struggle to get into acting because acting is not an easy job, but practically, I worked very hard and took coaching for improving my acting skills. For me, anchoring is the toughest job to perform on stage, but later the fear disappeared when I anchored for Gyan Guru on Imagine TV. Anchoring is something in which you have to be talkative enough to handle any situation. So, that was a challenge that I faced. But, it turned out to be like I gained a lot of popularity with my anchoring. This is how, I discovered a new talent in me. Well, well, I think it’s enough for today. This is me, Shakti Arora taking your leave. Yes, I promise to come back soon with lots of Shakti (laughs).
