Director of Big Synergy, Anil Kaul Basu is a happy woman with two big shows like Lakhon Mein Ek and Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) season 6 in her kitty.
While Lakhon Mein Ek is being aired on Star Plus on Sundays at 11 am, KBC will start airing in the weekend slot from Friday to Sunday at 8.30 pm on Sony Entertainment Channel starting 7 September (2012). This season will also be anchored by Amitabh Bachchan.
In conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Anita Kaul Basu said this time, for a change, KBC 6 has got a weekend slot, “I am very confident that the show will do well. We have got a great response and there have been large number of registrations for the show. The theme is different as it has always been.”
Till last year, KBC used to be aired from Monday to Thursday. When asked about the reason of change of KBC’s airing timings to the weekend slot, she promptly observed, “I am sure the channel must have done the required R & D and marketing. And talking about Lakhon Mein Ek, I feel it is doing well. It has
attracted large chunk of audience who are aware of the fact that it has replaced Satyamev Jayate.”
Hope Lakhon Mein Ek and KBC 6 keep on creating waves…
