Ankit Bathla, who was seen as the lead in Sahara One’s Mata Ki Chowki, is the next actor from small screen to knock on the doors of Bollywood. The actor is presently shooting for a movie titled Club 60, a message provoking movie. The flick also stars veteran actors Farooque Sheikh and Sarika, and many other renowned names. We hear that the movie is about a happy-go-lucky Muslim family wherein Farooque and Sarika play a couple. Ankita Bathla essays the role of their son who is devoted to their parents. In an era where the younger generation does not think twice before putting their aged parents in old age homes, this young lad holds different thoughts. He is very attached to his parents, and does not want to go abroad to pursue his studies. However, his parents convince him to go to the USA and this is when tragedy strikes this well knit family. The son gets killed in a communal riot that takes place in USA, and the parents are shaken with the death of their son. Misfortune strikes them when they are left homeless, and this is when they take shelter in an old aged home called Club 60 which houses many such aged people. The story then revolves around this couple who find a new family in the home inmates. The shoot for the movie is presently on, and is slated to release next year.
