Ankit Bathla who plays Veera’s love interest in Star Plus’ Ek Veer Ki Ardaas – Veera will be seen in the upcoming episode of Zee TV’s Fear Files (Esselvision Productions).
The story titled ‘Wishing Well’ will be about a happily married couple, played by Ankit and Shreya Rajput. Shreya is a known name in Punjabi cinema and has done episodics earlier in Shapath, Fear Files, Adaalat etc.
In the story of Fear Files, the wife essayed by Shreya will seek a wish from the wishing well wherein she will want herself and her husband to win huge money through a lottery bid. However, the twist in the tale will be that the ghost present inside the wishing well will grant the wish, only to take something from the person. So after becoming rich through the lottery, the wife will be harassed by the ghost who will eventually drag her into the well. When the husband will come to know of it, he will also jump into the well and try to protect his wife from the ghost.
Will the husband get successful in saving his wife?
When contacted, Ankit told us, “Yes, it was fun shooting for Fear Files. I have recently completed the shoot. The story is of a wishing well and the aftermath to it.”
Interestingly, the scenes to be shot inside the well were shot in a swimming pool at the wee hours of the morning. Though the water was cold with a drop in climate, the actors managed to carry off the scene well.
Ankit told us, “Yes, it was a challenge to be in water at 3 in the morning. However, we did pull it off well.”
Veteran actress Pratibha Kapoor will also be part of this episodic.
