Popular hunk Ankit Bathla will soon go missing for some time from the Colors popular show, Thapki Pyar Ki (SOL and Shoonya Square). 

Yes, the talented actor who has been showcasing his obsessive nature will wrap up shoot today (10 August), and will bid adieu, for at least the time being. 

We at Tellychakkar.com have already reported exclusively about his track getting to an end. Now, we got an opportunity to talk to the actor who amidst his busy schedule, gave us his valuable time. 

And for the ones who will miss Bathla in Thapki, here is one more good news... Ankit will soon be seen anchoring a dance reality show. And the man will begin shooting for it in Delhi in the next few days. 

Wow!! That’s indeed awesome news, isn’t it? 

Ankit shares with us his plans. “Yes, I will be heading to Delhi to shoot for the new reality show. Before that, I will be going to Bangalore for an event. My return to Thapki will happen but it will take some time.”

Ask Ankit about how he has enjoyed his Thapki journey and the actor with a smile on his face states, “Well, Dhruv is the only character who has had so many shades to portray. He started being the angry black and white personality, and changed to be the colourful lover boy. Later on, he was the man in hurt when he lost his love. After that, he compromised as per the situation as his family moved on and also because his wife was expecting. Then came the phase wherein he turned into a betrayed lover and later, went on to be an obsessive lover. Now it will all end with the man stricken with guilt.”

Ankit passes on his lovely message to his fans. “I have been getting tons and tons of messages from my fans. I really appreciate their love and warmth. I will be back again in Thapki with something new to give.”

Ask him whether he has no apprehensions of losing the love of audience by going missing, and he exclaims, “Not really. The character of Dhruv has really made a mark and nothing can diminish it. Even when Dhruv was at his notorious best, he was appreciated for his performance.”

Lastly, Ankit has a word to say about his amazing team of Thapki and co-actors. “I will miss being with my Thapki family for sure. We have gelled so very well as a family, that it will be tough to be away from them. Having said this, the break will only give me something new as an actor.”
