Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta has been going great guns, especially with the track of Sohum turning into an angry young man. His outburst has actually kept the viewers on the edge of their seats in this long-running Balaji Telefilms show, when it comes to the drama element being played upon.
However, the unit received a jolt recently when Ankit Narang aka Sohum was diagnosed with dengue fever. The actor was looking frail for the last few days, and now that he is very sick has taken a leave to go back to his family in Surat.
A source from the set of Pavitra Rishta tells us that the entire track was majorly being built on Sohum, and this sudden development has put a halt to all the plans. There is a sudden need to add in a filler track, or play around a bit with the story line without Sohum being a part of it.
Presently, the creative team is working on the new track that is to be brought in.
