MUMBAI: Audience’s beloved character Anna from the iconic show Bhakharwadi is back. The viewers will witness the entry of the iconic character Balkrushna Gokhale aka Anna (Deven Bhojani)  in Sony SAB's Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey. The show continues to highlight the little joys of life through their engaging episodes and capture the true essence of a common man's life through the lens of everyone's beloved Wagle family. Starring Aanjjan Srivastav, Bharati Achrekar, Sumeet Raghavan, and Pariva Pranati in its lead role. 

A new change is expected to transform the lives of the Wagle family, with Ballu mama (Deven Bhojani) visiting his sister Radhika (Bharati Achrekar) on the festive occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Known to be specific about his quintessential day-to-day activities and being attached to the Maharashtrian culture and traditions, Anna  had is one of the most memorable characters.  In the show, he has a serious tiff with Srinivas Wagle (Aanjjan Srivastav) and they don’t see eye to eye. His entry in the show will take the audience on a ride of emotions, wherein Rajesh Wagle (Sumeet Raghavan) will play a bridge between his father and Ballu mama to get their differences solved.

Deven Bhojani, essaying the role of Ballu Mama said, "I am thrilled to be again associated with Hats off production and Sony SAB. Aatish Kapadia and JD Majethia are dear friends of mine. Working with them has always been fun. My character as Anna in Bhakharwadi previously was much loved. With Anna's entry in Wagle Ki Duniya, the audience can expect various twists and turns in the show. As a fan as well as a viewer, I couldn't say a NO to Wagle Ki Duniya. This show is critically acclaimed, and an opportunity to play Anna again on television screens just sealed the deal. When JD and Aatish narrated the story to me, I was excited to be a part of the show and couldn't wait to start shooting for the same. The character of Anna has various layers, but the writers incorporated the character of Anna in Wagle Ki Duniya so well. I enjoyed the shoot so much and now I am eagerly looking forward to the episodes to be on-air and the audience's response to it."
