MUMBAI: The supernatural genre has always been a source of fascination for many as it creates speculative fiction stories topped with gripping visuals and striking story plots, which keep the viewers wanting for more. But not many know that the experience behind shooting stories under this genre has always stood as a challenge for several actors. Amongst the many names is the name of well-known actor Anshul Pandey who has entertained the audience with his various acts in genres like drama and comedy.

Bringing forth another pleasant surprise for his fans and viewers, the actor is all set to venture into supernatural fantasy genre in the upcoming episode of &TV’s show Laal Ishq. Performing his first very supernatural show of his life, it was revealed that while shooting for the show when Anshul got to know that he would also be portraying a role of a leopard for a particular scene, the actor had an unusual experience to share.  

Anshul Pandey said “It felt kind of strange at first when I learnt that my character in the story will gradually shapeshift into a Leopard. Having ventured into the supernatural zone for the first time and then landing a peculiar role like that is quite enticing. I kept thinking of how the end result will look on screen as, the closest I have gotten to a Leopard is only reading or watching them on television, and also sporting leopard printed blazers at parties (laughs). But jokes aside I must say, the aesthetics that are used in the show come forth so real that it doesn’t look fake or made up at all on screen, that’s what makes Laal Ishq stand apart from any other shows. I am curious to know how the viewers react to this new avatar of mine”.

In the upcoming episode the story will showcase around Bhola Singh a prominent businessman with contacts in political circle eyeing to become MLA. He along with his business associates have planned to cut down the forest and build resort which puts the balance forest in danger. His past will soon haunt him, since he was responsible for killing two leopards whose cubs were saved in time by Vanmala.
