Actor Anshul Trivedi is pretty excited about his ‘surprise’ involvement in the inaugural story of SAB TV’s newest show, Khidki produced by Umesh Shukla and J.D. Majethia. The first story to go on air will be ‘Anju Ki Shaadi’, with Aishwarya Sakhuja playing the central character.

Anshul will play the suitor who would come to see Anju (Aishwarya) for alliance. However, Anju who is very much passionate about her boxing goes missing from the house and does not get back on time to meet the would-be groom.

The story will then focus on how the family members will start cooking various stories for Anju not being home, and how the situational comedy will entertain the viewers will be the crux of it.

For Anshul who has done the serious roles so far, being part of the comedy genre has been a first experience. And the actor simply enjoyed being part of the story of Khidki.

Says Anshul, “Considering the fact that I was very apprehensive of doing comedy, I had a great experience shooting for Khidki. I have never worked with JD Sir, and it was an honour to work with him. It was again a thrilling experience to watch and learn so much from Umesh Sir.”

Anshul will for the first time sport a moustache look on TV. “I play a guy who heads the ‘Lost and Found’ department, and my look is extremely new for me. And the manner in which the situational comedy has been worked about in the story is superb. Overall, the story will be a great one to watch.”

Anshul was recently seen in the inaugural episode of Adaalat 2, and won a lot of praises for his performance. Presently, he is part of Colors’ Ishq Ka Rang Safed.
