TellyChakkar got in touch with Sudhanshu Pandey, who plays the character of Vanraj in the show, and quizzed him about Anupamaa being his comeback in the industry. The actor said, “I can safely second that Anupamaa has been a comeback to me, because despite being in the industry for more than a decade, being a part of Hollywood movies, and bagging one of the biggest movies Robot 2.0 with megastar Rajnikant, I didn’t get the kind of recognition that I did post signing Anupamaa."
He added, “I believe the reach of television is phenomenal. From Amitabh Bachahan’s Kaun Banega Cororepati to Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss and Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan, these stars have also received immense stardom and appreciation post venturing into the television industry, and I can proudly say that ‘Anupamaa’ is the best thing that has happened to me professionally."
