Panglosean Entertainment’s Phir Subah Hogi on Zee TV has been hitting the headlines for its striking storyline and unique concept. The show, which is replacing Ram Milaayi Jodi and hitting the screens on 2 April 2012, has a bunch of talented actors in its cast, namely Varun Badola, Narayani Shastri, Nimai Bali. Now the latest one to join the list is Anushree Bathla. Anushree was last seen in Neela Telefilm’s Hamari Saas Leela on Colors wherein she played Leela’s (Apara Mehta) daughter. Currently, she is also a part of Doordarshan’s Imtihaan. In Phir Subah Hogi, Anushree will play the important role of Lakshmi, the youngest daughter-in-law of Narayani Shastri’s family. Her husband’s role will be played by Sikander Kharbanda. The show is a real life story based in the Bundelkhand region wherein girls are forced to dance before the Thakurs (landlords) to earn money. Anushree will be shown pregnant and she will receive all the love and affection from her family. Reason? If she gives birth to a girl child then the family will get an opportunity to earn their livelihood. We talked to Anushree and she said, “I am very happy that I have got an opportunity to be a part of such an amazing show. The team is rocking and especially the actors. They are so focused and very particular about everything. And the best part is that the story is written in such a way that it throws equal importance on each and everyone.”
