MUMBAI: Rajan Shahi’s “Anupamaa” has managed to create a lot of noise because of its relatable content and striking performances. But like every day brings with it a new challenge for a homemaker, Anupamaa’s life is also full of struggles and challenges.

After winning the competition at her daughter’s school, she is now offered a job, which looks like that of a cookery teacher for S.U.P. W. classes. A thrilled Anupamaa is over the moon and even accepts the offer. And as always, she thanked her husband Vanraj for his support. But will Vanraj support her? Will her family stand by her side? How will her daughter react to her mother’s presence at the same school?

Anupamaa has been underestimated and unacknowledged all her life, by her husband and her kids. The encouragement and appreciation that she never received from her family, she got it from the outside world. The new episodes of “Anupamaa” will put Anupamaa in a new light and will definitely open some new pages in her life.

A homemaker stepping outside her comfort zone to make a name for herself will make “Anupamaa” an interesting watch not just for the woman who stays at home, but for all those who never give up despite the struggles and challenges they face.

“Anupamaa” features Rupali Ganguly in the titular role. It also stars Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Paras Kalnawat, Aashish Mehrotra, and Muskan Bamne. Produced under Rajan Shahi’s banner Director’s Kut Productions, the show airs on Star Plus from Monday to Saturday at 10 p.m.
