MUMBAI: Television actor Arun Singh Rana, who rose to fame with his stint in Star Plus’ Mahabharat and Star Bharat’s Kaal Bhairav Rahasya, has bagged &TV’s fantasy drama Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha (Peninsula Pictures).

The makers are introducing a new track where Arun has been roped in to play the role of Shri Ram. The story will also feature Chidiya Ghar fame Shafaq Naaz as Ahilya.

The Diya Aur Baati Hum actor and others have started shooting, and the particular track is expected to air soon.

Excited to play the role of Ram, Arun shared, ‘Since I belong to Delhi, I have participated in Ramleela and always played the role of Lakshman. But I always had a wish to play the role of Shri Ram. And when I was offered this show, I was on the top of the world.’
