MUMBAI: As we promised, we are back with another update from writer Rajita Sharma’s new show Patiala Babes for Sony TV under her banner Katha Kottage.

Patiala Babes revolves around the bond shared between a mother and daughter. The mother is old school, while the daughter is modern in her thinking.

As we know, Paridhi Sharma has been finalized over Deepika Singh to play the female protagonist.

We had also reported that TV actors Eijaz Khan and Mohit Hiranandani in talks to play the leads (Read here: Eijaz Khan and Splitsvilla fame Mohit Hiranandani to play the leads in Sony TV’s Patiala Babes?).

What do you think of Ashnoor Kaur?

Now, as per the latest development, the makers have roped in talented young artist Ashnoor Kaur to portray Paridhi Sharma’s daughter in the show.

Ashnoor is still remembered for the strong characters she played in Jhansi Ki Rani, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and many other shows.

We could not get though Ashnoor for a comment.

Patiala Babes will also feature veteran actor Anup Puri in the role of a grandfather.
