MUMBAI: Ghum Hai Kiskikey Pyaar Meiin is a one of a kind show on Star Plus.

Right from the initial episodes, the show was loved and the audience was in awe of the way the show introduced and presented the drama based on a Marathi backdrop.  

On a trip to Nashik, Nagpur-based IPS Officer Virat meets Paakhi. They develop romantic feelings but are unable to express them. Coincidently, Paakhi ends up marrying Samrat, Virat’s brother and after a confrontation, Virat promises her that he will be committed to her. However, Virat gets posted to a village in Maharashtra, where he meets Police Officer Kamal and his studious but outgoing and short-tempered daughter, Sai.

Virat promises a dying Sai’s father that he would take care of Sai and marries her under social pressure. He tells Sai of his emotional commitment to Paakhi and Sai agrees not to expect him to fulfill the role of a husband.

Well, the show is high on drama but was it right for Virat to get married to Sai and put his foot down where he stated that he will take her responsibility which did not mean that he would sacrifice his life and get married to her!

Talking to the audience who watched the show, Madhuri Sharma said, “Well, the show is interesting but I don’t see a point now with Vitthal filing a case against Virat. I mean anybody could have just walked out of the situation given that Sai herself did not want to marry Virat!”

Hemani Sanghavi shared, “Virat and Pakhi look as much perfect as a pair as much as Virat and Sai. In between all of this nobody was bothered where did Samrat go? Pakhi should get her husband back and as far as Virat and Sai are concerned Virat should have not married her to take her responsibility.”

Mohan Chandra opined, “There are a thousand options Virat could have explored but maybe he wanted to marry her! I want to see some love brewing between Virat and Sai now that they are married they should have an understanding.”

Melissa Smith shared, “Virat and Sai getting married spiced up the show. However, technically speaking, Virat did the right thing by marrying Sai else he would be blamed for everything happening in her life.”
