MUMBAI: Actress Naina Singh, who's mostly known for her role in Kumkum Bhagya as Rhea Mehra, recently got inked, and the tattoo, she says is a symbol of love and strength in her life. Naina, who's known for her headstrong and fearless attitude recently lost her mother, Shakti Singh due to a heart ailment.
The Bigg Boss 14 contestant, who's been trying to cope up with this loss, got her mother's name tattooed to keep her memories alive.
Talking about her new tattoo that reads 'Shakti', her mother's name, she says, "This is my way to fill up the void in my heart with love and strength to carry on in life."
At the time of her mother's demise, Naina was devastated and to express her sadness from the loss, the actress took to social media to write a lengthy emotional note for her.
A few lines from the note read, 'You know I have always been your brave girl. I will continue to do things that will make you so proud and I know you smile at me from above and that you'll always protect me and be my guiding light'.
Naina's mother passed away in February this year and the actress had shared a long emotional note expressing her pain. The actress has always credited her mother for her achievements and shared in all her interviews that it was her mother who pushed the actress towards achieving her dreams in the showbiz world.
