MUMBAI: The latest BARC (Broadcast Audience Research Council) ratings are in, and they’ve once again spotlighted the ever-evolving landscape of Indian television viewership. With several twists in the tale, the weekly chart has seen some unexpected surges and surprising setbacks.

Leading the charge this week is Udne Ki Aasha, which has firmly secured its position at the top, captivating audiences nationwide. Hot on its heels are long-standing favourites Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, continuing their consistent reign in the hearts of viewers.

In a notable rise, Jaadu Teri Nazar and Mangal Lakshmi – Lakshmi Safar have seen a marked improvement in their ratings, reflecting a growing connection with their audience. These shows have steadily climbed the TRP charts, proving their narrative appeal.

However, the biggest surprises of the week come in the form of Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile and Vasudha. Both shows have made an impressive leap in viewership, emerging as the underdogs turned front-runners in this week’s rankings.

On the flip side, not all shows fared as well. Jhanak, Parineetii, and Bhagya Lakshmi witnessed a significant drop in their ratings, suggesting a shift in viewer interest and engagement.
