TV actors seem to be taking active interests in other career options or venturing into something which has no connection to acting. Rajesh Kumar aka Rosesh of Saarabhai v/s Sarabhai along with his wife has recently entered into the candle making business. Other actors like Urvashi Dholakia and Manasi Joshi Roy have ventured into production. And now its Barkha Madan's turn.
Barkha is all geared up to hold an exhibition of handcrafted candles at Bohemia in Juhu. The exhibition is called
Daastan-e-Shama and many of her co-stars from Saat Phere are expected to grace the occassion.
"I started making candles few years back as a hobby. I would often gift them to friends and family members. Very soon I realized that I have a knack for it. Now. I am pursuing candle making professionally."
So, is it goodbye to acting for now ? To which the lovely lady replies, "I will soon be seen in two different kind of shows; one is UTV's comedy show and another one is a reality show which I am going to anchor. But, at this stage, its too early to talk about it. Also, very soon my character Riva in Zee's Saat Phere will be revived. "
The actor has two films to her credit , namely Bhoot and Khiladhiyo Ke Khiladi.
