MUMBAI: Seen in shows like Badii Devrani, Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par, Peshwa Bajirao and Krishna Chali London, actress Megha Chakroborty has seen fame in a very short span of time.

Currently she plays the lead role in SAB TV show Kaatelal & Sons and in an exclusive conversation with Megha, she spills beans on doing a comedy show for the first time and her experience shooting for the show. Megha shares, “This is a comedy genre and I really wanted to do as I have done fiction before. There is comedy and it is a young character so I am quite happy. My co-actors are also very cooperative and friendly. The team is also very positive.”

Talking about being relatable to her character, Megha says, “Sometimes I relate to the character as she is smart, she knows what to say and when to say so I relate to that part of my character but Garima lies a lot and manipulates things so that is something I am absolutely not. So it is a 50-50 situation here.”

Megha finds a challenge with the dialect of the show. She opines, “More than performing comedy in Katelal & Sons, what was is more of a challenge is that the show is a Haryanvi based how and being a Bengali, I have faced difficulties. The language is quite difficult for me but I have always wanted to explore myself as an artist and challenge myself. People often told me that I have a good sense of humour so I can pull of comedy so I was confident that I will do it. “
