For their upcoming quiz show – ‘Disney Q – The Family Mastermind’, Disney Channel will have the charming and versatile theater, television and film personality – Benjamin Gilani as the host. With kids leading the path, the show will see families contest against each other to win the coveted title of India’s Smartest Family.
A postgraduate in English Honors from Delhi University, Benjamin has studied at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). Over the years, he has worked with a number of renowned directors and has been associated with well-known plays. Besides theatre and cinema, Benjamin has also been an English professor at the prestigious St. Stephens College in New Delhi.
Commenting on being the host of the show, Benjamin Gilani, says “I am thrilled to be associated with credible brands such as Disney and BBC. Disney Q- the Family Mastermind is an extremely interesting format where I have to engage and interact with not just the kids or adults alone but the entire family. It’s a show which will witness the family dynamics at play as they participate as one unit and am truly looking forward to be a part of it.”
The show will be launched on Disney Channel and is slated to go on air on February 25 (2013).
