MUMBAI: Since the grand premiere of Bigg Boss 14, host Salman Khan has managed to entertain the audience with his perfect comic timing and humour. Not only that but he has also supported the contestants by trying his best to mentor them regarding their role in the game for the 'Weekend Ka Vaar' episode.

Now, in the recent episode of Bigg Boss 14, contestant Rubina Dilaik opened up about feeling disrespected on the show by claiming host Salman Khan’s comment being offensive.

Even though she agreed to the fact of not watching any of the Bigg Boss seasons earlier but she specifically targetted Bigg Boss' comment, wherein he addressed her husband Abhinav Shukla as ‘samaan’ and her belongings as ‘kachra’ (garbage) during that episode.

Rubina added that Salman Khan’s statement, “yeh samaan aap lekar aayi hain” was like a ‘punch in the gut’ and found it disrespectful.

As the Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki actress also mentioned that she and her husband Abhinav were not desperate to be a part of the show and that she believes in mutual respect.

Reacting to Rubina's accusations, Bigg Boss tried clarifying that Salman Khan was only trying his best to make them understand the situation in his own way. Bigg Boss mentioned how Khan had no intention of disrespecting anyone and asked Rubina to understand things from Salman’s perspective.

After an elongated discussion on the same with Rubina and Abhinav, Bigg Boss suggested that the team can tell host Salman Khan to never joke with the couple any further, to which they immediately responded saying that they would not like things to go that way.

Eventually, Dilaik decided to clarify the matter with Salman Khan and try to settle in.

Meanwhile, fans took to the social media and expressed their disappointment over Rubina's statement and behaviour.

Many fans agreed with BB 13 winner Sidharth Shukla for calling Rubina ‘selectively dumb’ over her reaction, during the episode.

Many even called Rubina ‘arrogant’ for her attitude and lashed out at her on social media.
