MUMBAI: In the episode of Bigg Boss 14, the race for captaincy is on and the contestants have to continually dance to the songs sung by the special guests-singers who have entered the house.
Amid this captaincy task, Rahul Vaidya and Aly Goni made an alliance and the former said that he wants to see him as the captain of the house.
While Shardul Pandit, Nikki Tamboli, Rahul Vaidya, Abhinav Shukla, Jasmin Bhasin, and Pavitra Punia were in the race for captaincy, others were busy in planning and plotting. Nikki and Shardul were the only two who kept dancing non-stop, which was the prime requirement of the task.
However, Aly and her friends Rahul, Jasmin and Abhinav who were irked with Nikki decided to evict her from the round.
Nikki got majority votes for not being the captain, followed by Shardul. However, Aly did not raise his hand for Shardul, which got the latter into thinking that Aly is conspiring against 'friend' Shardul. While Aly tried to convince him, Shardul wasn't ready to bear up the negotiation, further expressing that he too, wants to become the captain of the house.
Rahul Vaidya, who has found a new friend in Aly, volunteered to opt-out of the captaincy race. Rahul said that if Shardul and Aly are left, Shardul will sacrifice for Aly.

Now, Nikki, who was agitated with Rahul for back-stabbing and switching sides for a day-old friendship of Aly Goni started taunting the former. She asked everybody to raise their hands for Rahul to which, an irked Rahul asked her to not open her 'gutter' (referring to her mouth). He also abused himself for saving Nikki earlier.
Shardul is upset and feels cheated by his friends. Furthermore, he himself opts out of the captaincy race.
Pavitra Punia, too, breaks the rule and opts out of the captaincy race with utmost integrity post-witnessing the result going in one favour. She confirms that nobody can remove her from the race, she will voluntarily move out with dignity.
Abhinav also backs off from the captaincy race because of their mutual decision and he expresses on wanting to see Aly as the captain of the house.
Jasmin Bhasin and Aly compete with each other for the captaincy's race with Aly Goni to be announced as the new captain of the house soon.
