On the auspicious day of Bengali New Year, popular television celebs Neelu Vaghela (Diya Aur Baati Hum), Rehaan Roy (Dekha Ek Khwaab), Varunn Jain (Diya Aur Baati Hum), Jyotsna Chandola (Sasural Simar Ka), Manasi Joshi Roy (Kkusum) and the twins Raghu Ram and Rajiv Laxman (Roadies) are celebrating their birthdays today (15 April). Tellychakkar.com spoke to these stars to know more about their birthday plans.

Neelu shared, “After 3 months I got an off from my work so I am enjoying my holiday which is the best gift. Today I am going to just rest. Later in the evening will plan a small dinner with family. I want to thank all my fans for their love and support.”

Rehaan averred, “Last night I had a celebration with my friends and got lot of surprises and it is a double celebration for me because it’s Polia Boisakh (Bengali New Year) also. I will party tonight with all my friends. I wish to be with my family and friends forever.”

Varunn expressed, “I am throwing a party at my place for my friends and costars from the show. I have also planned to treat the entire unit today. I will party hard tonight to make my day more special.”

Jyotsna said, “Last night I had my sangeet ceremony so it was fun. All my friends surprised me and we had a blast till the wee hours. Deepika (Samson) created a photo collage and that made me emotional. I want to thank everyone for their wishes.”

With Manasi’s phone being unreachable, we called her hubby Rohit Roy, who informed, “We are celebrating her birthday and New Year together. The whole plan is but a surprise.” 

Rajiv quipped, “Last night my wife organized a surprise get together at my place so we had a nice party with all my friends. Today we will celebrate with our family. Thank you all for your wishes.”

We tried calling Raghu but he remained unavailable for comment.
