As part of the noble initiative, BIG MAGIC’s Raavi (Rimmi Srivastav) petitioned Bollywood celebrities and television stars at an award function, urging them to donate warm clothes for the homeless in the North as part of DaryaDili initiative.
Impressed with Rimmi’s innocent demeanor and her passion for the cause, renowned celebrities like Shilpa Shetty, Sonakshi Sinha, Mahi Gill, Arshad Warsi, Jimmy Shergil, Terrance Lewis, Manish Paul and Disha Vakani extended their support and donated warm clothes to the drive. A few celebrities were quick to praise the initiative and wished more people were willing to donate warm clothes to the drive.
Little Raavi’s collection drive saw massive participation from consumers across a 20 city network in the North. All proceeds from the drive will be donated to an NGO to help the needy and homeless brave the harsh winters.
Commenting on the same, the cute Rimmi said, “Playing a Punjabi girl onscreen, I was very excited to celebrate Lohri this year. In that festive spirit, I wanted to do something special for other people. Through DaryaDili, I will be helping the homeless by donating warm clothes for them. While collecting warm clothes, I met with a lot of movie stars who offered to help me collect clothes. I was very happy that so many of my favourite actors decided to help.”
