Today (27 November 2013) happens to be the birthday of Disco King Bappi Lahiri and to make the occasion memorable, the creative team of BIG Magic’s Nadaniyaan (Creative Eye) decided to make this day special for him.
The team comprising of Gaurav Sharma, Gunn Kansara and Iqbal Azad celebrated Bappi Da’s birthday on their set by cutting a cake with a lookalike of the famous music director cum singer who also shot for an episodic with them.
In this episodic, the look alike will be seen coming to their place and the entire family will mistake him for the really Bappi Lahiri. This will lead to a laugh riot and some confessions.
Off-screen too, the cast had lots of fun as they jived to some of the music maestro’s greatest hits like Ooh La La and I am a Disco Dancer among many others.
When we contacted Iqbal, he confirmed the same and said, “It is a fun episode where we actually mistake the look alike to be the real Bappi da and even end up dressing up like him.”
“We also wore fake tummies to look like Bappi Da,” laughs out Gaurav. “We danced on some of his best numbers something that reminded me of my childhood,” he further went on to add.
We wonder how Bappi Da will react watching this episode.
