MUMBAI: One of the most popular television actresses, Rashami Desai is currently making headlines for participating in Bigg Boss 13 and emerging as the third runner-up.
For the uninitiated, Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 13, which premiered on 29 September 2019 on Colors TV, has finally come to an end. The grand finale of the show took place on 15 February 2020 and it saw popular television actor Sidharth Shukla bagging the winner’s trophy. Asim Riaz, Shehnaaz Gill and Rashami Desai were named first, second and third runners-up respectively.
Before participating in Bigg Boss 13, Rashami has done a lot of other projects. She is popular for essaying Tapasya in Uttaran and Shorvori in Dil Se Dil Tak. She has also participated in reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi and Nach Baliye.
Even though Rashami's fans are disappointed with the results, the actress is happy with her journey inside the Bigg Boss house as she got love and support from her fans and viewers.

The pretty lady was born in Nagaon, Assam. She studied in Ulubari High School and JB Khot High School Assam. Her hometown is Gujarat.
Her real name is Divya Desai, but later, she changed her name to Rashami.
She has acted in films of different regional languages. She has acted in Bhojpuri, Assamese as well as Gujarati films. The actress has also made a cameo appearance in Salman Khan starrer Dabangg 2.
She married her co-star from Uttaran, Nandish Sandhu, but the couple later parted ways.
Rashami is a trained Bharatnatyam and Kathak dancer.
