MUMBAI: Sushmita Sen’s brother, Rajeev Sen and television actress Charu Asopa tied the knot in a lavish wedding in Goa in the presence of family and friends. The newlyweds are back to Mumbai and the Sen family welcomed their bride by performing a griha pravesh ritual.

They welcomed her inside the house as per the Bou Baran rituals. Charu's mother took to social media and shared a few videos from the ceremony. In the video, Rajeev's mother can be seen performing aarti of their bahu. Charu then stepped on to a plate which had alta water and walked on a white cloth, leaving her footprints on them. Clad in a gorgeous banarasi saree and white mukut, Charu looked beautiful.
