MUMBAI: Helly Shah is a renowned Indian television actress. She has played the lead roles in popular Hindi shows like Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur, Devanshi, Sufiyana Pyaar Mera and Ishq Mein Marjawan 2. 

Helly Shah is a Gujarati who hails from Ahmedabad. For the unversed, she embarked upon the world of showbiz as a teenager, when she was only in the 8th standard by debuting before the small-screen for a brief role in Star Plus' show Gulaal.  

Years later, she played the supporting role of 'Shruti' in Star Plus' then most-popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum (back in 2011). After this, Helly went on bagging lead female roles for various shows of the leading entertainment channels in a spree and there's no stopping her till date!

In 2016, Shah had also participated in Colors TV's dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa 9.

1. Alaxmi/ Laxmi Kapadia in Alaxmi - Humari Super Bahu

After doing small cameos here and there till 2011, it was in the year of 2012 when Helly bagged her first leading role on-screen for portraying the character of 'Alaxmi' in Life Ok's Alaxmi - Humari Super Bahu and played the role for a whole year.

2. Aashi Dubey in Khushiyon Kii Gullak Aashi

After replacing Ulka Gupta for Ami Joshipura's role in Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi (2013), Helly bagged another titular female lead named Aashi Dubey's role a year later in Khushiyon Kii Gullak Aashi. She became quite a household name post featuring in this show.

3. Swara Sanskaar Maheshwari in Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur

This Indian television series premiered from 2nd March 2015 on Colors TV and revolved around the bittersweet relationship between two half-sisters. It starred Helly Shah, Tejasswi Prakash, Varun Kapoor and Namish Taneja in the lead roles. Both the actresses, namely Helly and Tejasswi claimed immense fame and popularity through this show and Helly was popularly referred to as 'Swara' nationwide. This was Helly's most successful role and show till date and the breakthrough one as well.

4. Devanshi Vardaan Chaudhary/ Devanshi Pavan Bakshi in Devanshi

In 2017, Helly again featured as the titular lead character in another Colors' show named Devanshi. The show's plot was set in the backdrop of Haryana, which addressed superstitious as well as divine issues and ideologies. Helly was appreciated for portraying her role here as well.

5. Saltanat Zaroon Shah/ Kaynaat Zaroon Shah in Sufiyana Pyaar Mera

This show aired on (meaning 'My Love is Pure' in English) aired on Star Bharat, which both commenced and ended in 2019. It starred Helly Shah, Rajveer Singh, Vijayendra Kumeria and Pallavi Gupta in the lead roles. Though brief in duration, Helly's presence and acting chops helped garner massive attention towards it.

6. Riddhima Vansh Raisinghania in Ishq Mein Marjawan 2

From 2020 till present, Helly plays the pivotal role of Riddhima Vansh Raisinghania opposite Rrahul Sudhir in Ishq Mein Marjawan's spiritual sequel - Ishq Mein Marjawan 2, which aired on Colors TV from 13 July 2020 to 13 March 2021, post-which the show premieres on Voot Select as an OTT show in the name of Ishq Mein Marjawan 2: Naya Safar. This time, the on-screen pairing of Helly and Rrahul as Vansh and Riddhima is being highly loved and appreciated by the audience for their overwhelming performance as a picture-perfect couple.
