The first schedule of Abhisehk Bachchan’s National Bingo Night got over this week in Mumbai. Avika Gor and Avinash Mukherjee, the child stars of Balika Vadhu were the last guests for this schedule. A source present on the sets informs: “The episode with Avika and Avinash was good fun. Avinash managed to win some gifts. Since Abhishek had promoted his film Drona in Balika Vadhu, he was comfortable with the kids, it was easier for them to shoot. Avinash is quite impressed with Abhishek and they even exchanged their numbers and promised to be in touch. “We also shot with Vidya Balan and Arshad Warsi in an earlier episode where they promoted their new film Ishqiya. Vidya even bagged a prize.” The source says Abhishek was initially nervous and had to do a few retakes. “We packed up at 3 in the morning for the first episode. But otherwise he is very chilled out guy, he chats with everyone on the sets. He is a quick learner and finishes shooting very quickly. He loves to interact with the studio audience, he cracks jokes with them and does lots of masti on the sets. He makes the atmosphere lively and fresh. He keeps on cheering everyone. So we also enjoy shooting with him.” The unit is all set to fly to Udaipur and then to Baroda for the next schedule where they will be shooting with common people. Deepika Padukone and Farhan Akhtar too promoted their Kartik Calling Kartik and celebrated Holi on the sets. Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan are expected to shoot in the last Mumbai schedule next month.
