Step aside Malaysia, Dubai, Singapore...Uzbekistan is here! BP Singh known for always trying something different, has done it again!

This time the producer has decided to shoot an episode of CID, in the Central Asian country. He has already left for a recce on 28 September, which will give his team an idea of the locations involved. Then the script will be finalised according to that.

The team will primarily shoot in three towns -- Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand. "We chose Uzbekistan because Mr Singh wanted a completely different culture. And since it is perceived to be a mysterious country, it adds to the charm," says supervising producer, Yash Patnaik. Local actors will assist the popular CID team and will add that extra flavour.

The USP of these episodes will be that BP Singh will not only direct them, but will also wield the camera. An interpreter of Indian origin has been assigned to the team.

The producer will be back in Mumbai on 3 September, and then the date of shoot will be finalised.
