Cheers to the team of Comedy Nights with Kapil!!! The rib tickling comedy chat show Comedy Nights with Kapil (K9 & SOL productions), which presented an entertaining and new dimension to comedy shows, completed two years in business (22 June). The show, which was initially shot for few episodes, went on to become a huge hit among the masses. And after a recent leap in the show, many changes have been introduced in the plot, which made the show even more captivating for audience. We spoke to Sumona Chakravarti aka Manju Sharma and the happy lady shared, “I remember that initially it was planned to be of twenty six episodes but, with the series doing well, it was extended and now, it has crossed the milestone. The best part about the show is that it continuously keeps on introducing few changes for which it does not become monotonous.” While this one is a reason to rejoice for fans, we also have sad news for the viewers. A source from the set informed us that recently shooting has been called off with Kapil’s back pain getting aggravated. Mr. funny-bones of television was not been able to shoot for his health problems for past two or three episodes. When we called up Pinky Bua aka Upasana Singh for a confirmation, she commented, “Yes, Kapil is not keeping up well these days, hope he gets well soon. As per the show is concerned I am very happy that it is going strong day by day. Moreover, I am super excited about our upcoming international tour and wish to entertain our viewers some more”. As, we congratulate the entire team of Comedy Nights some more success, we also wish a speedy recovery for Kapil.
