The feisty young journalist Ananya of Sony TV’s Reporters (Rose Audio Visuals Pvt Ltd) aka Kritika Kamra is also one strong personality in real life!

And for her contribution to the society, the actress was recently awarded with the Cyber Celebrity of the Year title.

The award handed to her at the two day national conference on Cyber Crime Control was organised by the cyber crime section of police department wherein very few people across industries were awarded for making people aware of the crimes over the internet.

And Kritika is the only entertainment celebrity who was awarded for her association with the show MTV Webbed.

Talking on the same the pretty actress shared, “It was so unexpected but definitely a surprising thing. Although we dramatise things onscreen, our show had definitely spread the right notes all across. It is always humbling to have parents come up to you saying that they have learnt a lot from us. Children definitely found a learning ground through Webbed.”

Stating the experience of receiving the award, Kritika added, “It was a wonderful event wherein people got to know more about cyber crime and how to stay safe. I met a lot of people from NGOs, law officials, students and had a great discussion. It was overall a learning experience.”
