After the over hyped mid-air melee between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover, the TRPs of The Kapil Sharma Show (K9 and Frames Productions) has declined drastically. Well one thing leads to another and this time it is only for the worse.

Earlier most of Kapil’s co-performers dumped the show, and now reportedly, Kapil is all ready to bid adieu to his big fat pay check so that he can continue to anchor his comedy talk show.  The Kapil Sharma show that is aired on Sony TV is no longer the audience’s favourite comedy TV show. 

According to a leading daily, Kapil and the channel mutually decided to renegotiate his fees and it has been reduced by almost a half. The practice of continuing with the shows inspite of poor ratings by cutting down on the remuneration is a practice prevalent in the west and it seems to be catching up in our part of the entertainment world as well.

Tellychakkar tried to get in touch with Kapil and Frames' producer Ranjit but they both remained unavailable to comment.
