"Dance of victory" next on Sony TV's Maharana Pratap

Bharat Ka Veer Putra- Maharana Pratap
Viewers of Sony Entertainment Television’s Bharat Ka Veer Putra- Maharana Pratap (Contiloe Telefilms) were recently witness to a bloody war between King Uday Singh (Shakti Anand) and Shams Khan that finally culminated with the Mewar Kingdom coming out victorious after a long battle. The fight, well supported by Rana Bahadur Singh (Dakssh Ajit Singh) and Pratap (Faisal Khan),also marked the death of Rana that saddened the entire kingdom. But now, it will be time to celebrate the victory with a grand dance by Pratap. Said an excited Faisal who portrays the young Maharana Pratap with elan, “I am very happy to have finally got a chance to shake my legs on the show. It is a great break from the regular scenes I am doing and I enjoyed performing a lot. It was a traditional Rajasthani folk number that was choreographed by a professional dance master who is 76 years old; it was a worth experience.” Added Shakti, “All this while, the people of Mewar have had a hard time. They are finally enjoying their happiness by dancing their guts out. It was a great experience shooting the happy times after the hard battle sequences.” Also sighing with relief are women of Mewar, who would have been subjected to Jowar had Uday Singh lost the battle. Said Rajshree Thakur (Maharani Jaivantabai), “We Rajputanis are not scared of death and would have accepted Jowar, but it is a proud moment for the queen as her husband and son has freed their motherland.” Divyalaxmi who plays Sajjabai laughingly says, “As soon as Jowar was announced, I was scared; thankfully Pratap helped us. And also, even I got to do my bit of action in the scenes (she killed an intruder in the palace). So it was real fun.” The dance sequence will go on air next week. Well it’s all happy on the Maharana Pratap front at the moment but watch out for some more drama in the coming episodes.
