Deepak Wadhwa's big screen debut with Calendar Girls

Deepak Wadhwa

A lot has been said about Madhur Bhandarkar’s Calendar Girls.

The movie, about swimsuit models inspired from Vijay Mallaya’s Kingfisher Calendars, released today (25 September).

Now, five beauties from the fashion industry have debuted with this intriguing film. But not many know TV hunk Deepak Wadhwa (Qubool Hai) too plays an important role in Calendar Girls.

Deepak will be seen playing a Pakistani Inzamam, the boyfriend of Nazneen played Avani Modi. The two will be seen living in London, before Nazneen would fly off to become a model in India.

Deepak’s character is said to be a complete chauvinist who would not respect his girlfriend and live off her money. With her choosing to start a career in India, he would be seen troubling her a lot.

When we buzzed the actor he confirmed the same and said, “I am really excited about this film as it is my big screen debut. Also working with Madhur Sir had been a great experience. I really want people to see the film and give their feedbacks.”

Great luck Deepak!!!
