Actress Dharti Bhatt, who is playing the character of the chirpy Mahi in Big Magic’s show Naya Mahisagar is down with malaria. The actress has still managed to shoot even in such condition.

Talking about the same, Dharti said “It started with a normal fever initially and I was not aware that it’s malaria. Next day when my mom took me to the doctor, he confirmed that it is the initial stage of malaria, but I had to go on the sets for the shoot so I just went ahead and did the shoot. 

In the show, Naya Mahisagar, there is no such scene in which I am not there, so I had to shoot every day. Thankfully, the whole crew is very supportive; I take long naps at times on the sets and no one tries to wake me up. To keep myself going, I am taking a lot of water in between the scenes and my medication is going on. I think I will get well very soon.”

Dharti Bhatt made her debut with popular serial Love Marriage Arrange Marriage on Sony TV. The actress also appeared in television’s most popular historic show Jodha Akbar.
