MUMBAI: The world of glamour is extremely bright but what lies inside is not that great. People always think how amazing is the life of their favourite celebrities who live such a luxurious lifestyle.

1. Mitali Sharma

Mumbai's Oshiwara police had found the actress begging and stealing on the roads of Lokhandwala. She took to stealing after her career stalled and her parents abandoned her for pursuing her dreams of becoming an actor.

2. Geetanjali Nagpal

Nagpal, who once walked the ramps for top designers, was found begging in a market in posh South Delhi in the year 2007.

3. Bhagwan Dada

After giving many hits in his career, he faced a low point when his films flopped. He was forced to live in a chawl and died of a massive heart attack at his residence in 2002.

4. A K Hangal

95-year-old A K Hangal went bankrupt and couldn’t even pay off his medical bills. Actors like Jaya Bachchan and Salman Khan came to the actor’s assistance and paid off his dues.

5. Shweta Basu Prasad

The actor was caught in a sex racket, a step she supposedly took after running out of money. Though all claims were later declined, it definitely surprised the industry.

6. Jagdish Mali

Long years back, the father of actress Antara Mali and famous photographer, Jagdish Mali was last seen begging on the streets of Mumbai.

7. Raj Kiran

'Arth' fame actor Raj Kiran was found in a mental asylum of America's Atlanta. It is believed that his close one left him during his bad phase of life.

8. O P Nayyar

Famous Bollywood singer spent a very poor life during his last days. He stayed at the house of his fan after getting apart from his family. He was so much addicted to alcohol that he used to ask for money or alcohol from the media persons.

9. Achala Sachdev

She has worked in approx 130 movies. Besides all the successful movies in her kitty, she died in a hospital alone with no money to pay the hospital bill.

10. Pooja Dadwal

Salman Khan has reportedly reached out to his Veergati co-actress Pooja Dadwal, who is currently suffering from Tuberculosis (TB). The superstar has gifted the former actress some essentials and assured her that he will bear the entire treatment expenditure.

Apart from this, many actors like Parveen Babi, Vimi, Bharat Bhushan, Satish Kaul, among others faced lots of financial problems in the latter days of their career.
