MUMBAI: Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel played Raman and Ishita respectively in the popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

Recently, a rumour surfaced in media that the two might be sharing screen space again post 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein'. Producer Ekta Kapoor hinted that the show may return on ALT Balaji on her social media.

Ekta took to Instagram to ask fans if they would be eager to see Divyanka and Karan Patel again in an 'alternate' medium while stressing on 'ALT', which is also the name of her streaming service ALTBalaji. The video also featured the two lead actors.

But in a recent live session with one of the leading entertainment portal, Divyanka revealed that the project might not happen anymore. She mentioned that she hasn't signed anything and also there was a project with Karan which she thinks is not happening anymore. 

The actress also mentioned that she knows people were eagerly waiting to see them together but she is not sure. There might a technical reason but she feels it is her responsibility to inform people that it may not happen.
