There is already a buzz in the media about Channel V altering its programming spectrum and turning into a youth fiction, instead of a music channel. It has already tasted success with shows like Dil Dostii Dance, Gumrah and Humse Hai Life.
Now that the Channel V has shifted lanes, many production houses are pitching to launch their shows on it.
Tellychakkar.com has already written about Sunshine Productions launching a new project called The Buddy Project on the channel, and the latest we have learned is that, DJ’s A Creative Unit has also been commissioned a show.
The project will have a Punjabi masala with Chandni Chowk, Delhi, as the backdrop.
The story will revolve around three sisters, who will have their own diverse stories to tell. The elder one will be married but will keeps coming to her parents’ house. The second one will be peppy in nature and will be eagerly waiting to get engaged. The last of the sisters will be tomboyish and extrovert in nature.
The makers want to sign new faces for the serial.
