One detective show makes way for another horror show. Sunjoy Waddhwa's Don which was launched with much fanfare in February this year will soon wrap up on 20 October. Contiloe Films horror show Shh Koi Hai earlier aired on Star Plus will replace Don which had a 26 episodes contract with the channel but eventually got an extension to shoot for 30 episodes in all. "Star One plays on seasons and we have got to work on 30 episodes for the show with an initial contract of 26. We have experimented with locations, pre- production work and the detailing of each episodes has been done in a very sound manner. Working with Parmeet Sethi has been a nice experience besides he's a dear friend too. He's a thorough gentleman and a nice human being," points out Lata, director of the show who will now be taking up direction for Betiyaan Apni Yaa…Paraaya Dhan. Sunjoy Waddhwa, Producer(Sphere Origins) of Don is all set to capture the hearts of Star One viewers with not one but two shows Betiyaan Apni Yaa…Parayaa Dhan and Saathi Re. Confirming the details of the show going off air and having it replaced with a different genre of show, Creative Head, Star India Pvt Ltd, Shailaja Khejriwal affirms "Yes, Don is coming to an end and Shh Koi Hai will be replacing it. We have been experimenting with different genres for the past two years. Our attempt has been to offer viewers with game shows, reality shows, soaps, comedies detective shows and now a horror show." Interestingly, while televisions' Don goes off air on 20 October silver screens Don hits the theaters' on that very day. The one hour weekly show Shh Koi Hai will hit the tube on 27 October and is being slotted in the 10 pm.
