Double shocker for Balaji; Tujh Sang and Kis Desh get the boot

Well, Star Plus has done it again. It is all set to axe Balaji Telefilms' Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajana and Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. The two shows that originally launched in the prime time slot with Tujh sang replacing the channel's long-standing Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, were later shifted to the afternoon slot at 1 pm and 2.30 pm respectively. The production house had been trying its best to keep the viewers engrossed in the show with timely twists and shockers. While Tujh Sang recently took its second leap only to give rise to the hope that Vrinda and Yug will finally re-unite, Prem (Harshad Chopra) lost his on-screen brother Preet (Sushant Singh Rajput) in Kis Desh... The show is slated to end sometime in the first half of February. A source informs, "Yes, the two shows are ending on February 5. It's unfortunate as both the shows enjoy a huge fan-following. We came to know about the development only last evening. It was abuzz that the two shows were under the scanner for a long time but somehow the track kept getting extended and now the channel has decided to end both the shows." Talking about the upcoming track of Tujh Sang, our source says, "Now, one would see the friction rising between Rajbeer Singh and his daughter who tries to justify her mother Vrinda's stance. Rajbeer refuses to accept her as his daughter as he feels she's Yug's daughter. This instigates Vrinda to take a drastic step and she decides to leave Rajbeer's house and announces that if he doubts the legitimacy of their daughter then she would rather marry Yug." When contacted, Puja Bose who plays Vrinda said, "I have no clue about this." Both Kunal Verma (Yug of Tujh sang preet lagayi sajna) and Harshad Chopra (Prem of Kis desh mein hai meraa dil) remained unavailable.
