Drama galore: Nandni to be jailed; death looms on Chandra

Drama galore in Chandra Nandni…read on for details
Chandra Nandni

Did you enjoy history in school? Very few people did, isn’t it?

Thankfully, history on TV is way better in terms of drama and entertainment.

Star Plus’ magnum opus Chandra Nandni by Balaji Telefilms is one of them. The historical tale, with an impressive cast, keeps us hooked, and how.

Here’s an interesting update from the daily.

As seen so far, Chandra (Rajat Tokas) has been severely injured by the enemy’s poisonous arrow. Nandni (Shweta Basu Prasad) would somehow manage to bring him back to the palace but to her utmost horror, she would be blamed for the attack by Helena (Tanu Khan).

Shares a source, “Helena would call the soldiers and get Nandni arrested as she would feel that she was instrumental in Chandra’s attack. Nandni’s pleas would not affect her and she would push her into the jail.”

Fortunately, Durdhara (Sanvi Talwar) and Moora (Papiya Sengupta) would realise Nandni’s innocence. They would help her escape.

Nandni would then rush to the vaid’s (doctor) secret storage and give Chandra an antidote that would instantly revive him.

Relieved, the family would celebrate and Chandra, impressed with Nandni’s intelligence, would develop feelings for her.

Woaaah! Start of a new romance? Well, we will have to wait and watch!

The actors were busy shooting and thus couldn’t comment.
