Earlier in the day we informed about the rural tale Ek Ghar Banaunga (Village Boy Productions) completing 300 episodes and here we bring you exclusive news that the show will soon bid farewell to the TV screens (life is all about surprises).

Yes, the serial will air its last episode on 7 June and the coming week, its slot (6:30 pm) will be taken up by Panorama Entertainment’s Ek Ladki Suhani Si on Star Plus.

The show produced by Hemant Ruparal, Ranjeet Thakur and ex Head of Fiction-Programming of Star Plus Suzana Ghai, will have fresh faces Saahil Mehta and Neha Yadav playing the leads.

Ek Ladki Suhani Si is said to be a thought-provoking love story and its promo will soon hit TV screens.

When we buzzed Rahul Sharma the lead of Ek Ghar…, he confirmed the ‘off air’ news and said, “It had been a wonderful journey and it’s sad that the show had to be suddenly wrapped up. But being a positive person, I would look at the brighter side and hope to get a new start soon.”

Producer Ranjeet also quipped, “Yes, we are shooting the promo today and will present our show from 9 June.”

Only time will tell how this new show would fare in the battle of TRPs.
