Eva has been roped in for Esselvision Productions’ upcoming show on Zee TV, Tashan-E-Ishq.

A source claims, “Eva has already started shooting for the show. She will play the mother of the anti-hero in the show, Zain Imam. The lady will play a Punjabi character, but will don a glamorous and westernized avatar. She will be the main negative force in the show.”

When contacted, Eva confirmed the news stating, “Yes, after two long years, here I am, back on TV. I am very excited to take this offer of Zee TV. I had been getting many offers, but I was earlier not inclined to playing most of the roles that were offered. Finally, I am back now.”

The last time she came close to bagging a show was with Zee TV for the Rajan Shahi show, Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya. However, things had not fallen in place then for the actress.

Eva has been part of successful shows like Gubbare, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Shararat, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. She has also been part of the movie My Friend Ganesha 3.
