MUMBAI: Colors TV is all set to roll out a brand new show titled Swaran Ghar.
After successfully launching Udaariyaan, ace TV and film actors Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta are all set for their new show. The serial is produced under their home banner Dreamiyata Productions.
Ronit Roy and Sangita Ghosh are set to play the lead roles in Swaran Ghar.
Apart from Ronit and Sangita, the show has an amazing star cast.
Ajay Chaudhary is one of them who will be playing a pivotal role in the show.
What kind of preparations did you take for your character in Swaran Ghar?
I belong to the theatre background. When I did the TV show Love Story, I just went with the flow and presented myself the way I was. But after that, I am always conscious that my character should be like that, it shouldn't be me. When I was offered this character, I was very skeptical in the beginning. Sargun was extremely convinced that I should only do this character. I couldn't say no looking at her conviction.
How close are you to your family? What was their reaction on seeing your look in the show?
We are three brothers. When my mom came to know about the story, she said it is their family's story. I said it's different as these three brothers are very different. It's all a part of Swaran's journey. The viewers will see how Swaran will witness ups and downs in the family.
Do you think viewers will feel if you would feel in Ronit's character's space after his exit from the show?
It's nothing like that. He has his own importance. Kamal Bedi's character is extremely loveable. Everyone loves him. My character is very different from him. So, there is no comparison. I don't feel there is a need to compare anything.
Ajay is known for his roles in shows like Phulwa, Kumkum - Ek Pyaara Sa Bandhan, Dil Se Diya Vachan, Uttaran among others.
Swaran Ghar will hit the small screens on 28th February.
