MUMBAI : Ekta Kapoor's popular drama series Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 has been working wonders on small screens ever since the first day.
The show which stars Disha Parmar and Nakuul Mehta in the lead roles has managed to impress the viewers with its beautiful storyline and the two’s fine acting chops is the cherry on the cake.
Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 has a stellar star cast and Aman Maheshwari is one of them who is seen in a pivotal role in the show.
The actor is portraying the role of Neeraj Bajwa, Priya's ex-love interest and her sister Maitri's husband.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Aman who revealed some interesting things about the show, his character, and much more.
What kind of transformation has your character seen till now and what changes are you looking forward to in Neeraj's character?
When it comes to my character transformation, I think Neeraj is a very strong character who is not really happy with Ram and Priya's marriage. Neeraj has always felt that why Priya has got married to such a successful and popular businessman. She doesn't deserve any love from anyone.
Have you received any backlash from the viewers given the fact how Neeraj went on to leave Priya and married her sister Maitri?
I get a lot of comments and many YouTube links are forwarded to me on my Instagram DM's. I do get compliments as well as comments for my character. People say that how I can do this to Priya. She is such a naive girl and why I am so unhappy about what she has been getting in her life. They also ask me why I dominate Maitri so much as she is such a nice girl. There are some harsh comments made by the audience for my on-screen character.
If given a chance would you like to do a role reversal with any of your co-stars? Whose character would you like to play?
When it comes to role reversal, I think I am very happy with my character. But if given a chance, I would love to play Pranav Misshra's character Akki who is seen as Priya's brother in the show because his character has seen lots of twists and turns. There are a lot of meaty things that are happening with his character in the show. But I am equally happy with my role Neeraj. I am looking forward that it should grow more and seeing lots of twists and turns. I hope to see more new shades in Neeraj's character.
