MUMBAI: Karan Sharma is doing an exceptional job with his stint in Sasural Simar Ka as Vivaan Oswal. 

Speaking exclusively to Tellychakkar.com, Karan shared his experience shooting for the show. He shared, “I have seen the original Sasural Simar Ka and it is wonderful to be a part of the season 2. But again, it is challenging as well as season 1 was a superhit and we have to be committed to delivering that kind of performance. 

As for my character, Vivaan is very energetic, very emotional , very sensitive but and yet, he wants to live his life to the fullest. He doesn’t care, he doesn’t bother too much about other people. He loves his family very much and he can go to any extent for them specially his brother Aarav and he can do anything for him. He cannot stand the wrong things happening. For him what’s wrong is wrong and what’s right is right and he doesn’t want any of the properties. His thinking is if the elder brother can handle everything let him do it, I don’t need to take any tension. The elder brother is the only one for whom he can do anything , even if he’s wrong but he won’t do the same for the rest of the world.” 

Speaking of competition as he is in the parallel lead with Avinash Mukherjee, Karan shared, “There is no competition , but there is you can say we compliment each other because I feel Avinash is a wonderful actor, his performance level is different and mine is different. He plays the role more maturely because the character is elder brother and I need to underplay the same. With regards to Tanya Sharma, she is the first co-star with whom I can comfortably work with. She is very energetic even off screen and there is a good vibe between us. “ 

We also asked Karan if he misses shooting with Dipika Kakar and his experience shooting with Jayati Bhatia. 

Karan shared, “Yes definitely we miss her. I miss her because we shot in the beginning, we shot amazing scenes. Dipika is really very down to earth and a very sweet as a person. Despite of doing super hit shows she is very simple. As for Jayati Bhatia, she guides me well and helps me enhance my performance.”
