MUMBAI : Avinash is a very well-known actor in the entertainment industry, and he has played iconic roles on television.

He has appeared in films like Junoon, Geet, and Balmaa. He featured in Colors TV show Balika Vadhu as Anup Shekhar.

Currently, he is seen in Zee TV’s show Agar Tum Na Hote, where he is essaying the role of Gajendra Pandey.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked about how he bagged the show and whom he bonds the best with on the sets.

How did you bag the show Agar Tum Na Hote?

I got a call from the production house and had a meeting with the producers. Then, they finalized me. They wanted me on board, and that’s how I bagged the show.

What made you agree to play the role?

It is an exciting character and very challenging for me as I never played such a role. The character is a very rich and powerful man but, at times, very ruthless. At the same time, he is a very caring and loving person for his family. The role has many shades, and every actor would like to play it. It is the opportunity of a lifetime.

Whom are you close to on the sets?

I get along with everyone on the sets of the show, but I really bond well with Anita Kulkarni, who essays the role of my wife in the serial. We have even worked in the show Balika Vadhu, and we share a comfort level and are good friends. But to be honest, everyone is friendly one the sets of the show.

The audience loves the actor's role and performance.
