MUMBAI : Bade Achhe Lagte Hai 2 has been a breath of fresh air and has been one of the most loved TV shows. Viewers are loving the chemistry of the lead stars Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar, who play the role of Ram and Priya respectively. The gripping storyline and fantastic performances have been winning the hearts of viewers.
A lot has happened on the show, and after many twists and turns, just when fans thought that Ram and Priya might finally get together, they were hit with another twist.
The show has a great ensemble cast that is beloved by the audiences.
Alefia Kapadia plays the role of Sara on the show, and her character is loved by the fans a lot. The show is taking a generation leap, and many of the stars are leaving the show.
Nakuul Mehta recently confirmed that he has quit the show and is just completing his last schedule.
And rumours were circulating that even Disha Parmar will be leaving the show, but there has been no confirmation or even denial about the same. We can only assume that they are discussing the future course of action with the makers of the show.
After these rumours and confirmation, the status of the majority of the cast is not yet clear.
In a recent conversation with actress Alefia Kapadia, when we asked Alefia about her future on the show, and whether or not we will see her post the leap, she said, “I honestly feel from Priya’s side that since the show is going to be all about Pihu post the leap, when we talk about family in the true sense, family for Pihu is Sara, Meera and Priya’s side of family, because Ram’s side of the family is not really close, and everyone else is friends with Ram. The real family is just showing up, and we don’t know what the dynamic is going to be like with them. So, I feel that Sara will be an integral part; she should be an integral part because she is the only one who knows Pihu from the beginning. She is very close to Pihu. I feel like Sara is going to be a very integral part of Pihu’s life post leap.”
She further stated, “And if that does happen, I don’t have a problem playing an older woman. But how I see it is that I have seen my mom wearing sarees growing up, but now my old woman is into denims and shorts and palazzos. So how I see it, Sara is like that. Although she might have aged in numbers, she will still be the cool aunt, and cool massi. If they can bring that element to Sara, I’ll be more than happy to do it. As of now, we have to sit and have a meeting, and I have to find out what’s in their mind, and if that aligns with what I have in mind.”
Alefia has been a part of shows like Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Prithvi Vallabh, Kaal Bhairav Rahasya Season 2, and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2.
